Like many South African wine regions, Robertson is in a beautiful location that matches its dramatic scenery with equally impressive wines. Known as the "valley of wine and roses," Robertson lies 100 miles east of Cape Town in the Breede River Valley region. Fed by the Breede and sheltered by the Langeberg Mountains to the north, Robertson Valley is prized for its limestone and gravel soils and temperate Mediterranean climate.
