About This Wine
Watchful Maker
Sauvignon Blanc
Watchful Maker is all about the craft that goes into winemaking. It’s about the idea that there is an art to making expressive wines that change the way you think about a certain style or certain grape. This wine is made by our team using grapes from Columbia Valley in Washington. Lying in the rain-shadow of the Cascade Mountains, the vines are forced to work harder with very little rainfall, producing grapes with concentrated and expressive flavors. This wine has beautiful citrus notes that are touched by hints of wet stone and white flowers. The acidity keeps you refreshed as you drink and pairs well with vegetables, chicken dishes, and briny or sour cheeses. And judges love it too! It took home 90 Points and a Gold medal from the 2019 Sommelier Challenge.
