About This Wine
Valley Oak Cooperage
Zinfandel
Valley Oak Cooperage continues to forge delicious wines that hold true to varietal character while showcasing the skilled hand of the winemaker. This classic California Zinfandel comes from the rolling hills of Sonoma County, where our local winemaking partners take advantage of this historic region’s various microclimates and diverse terroir to produce wines worthy of its reputation. Our Zinfandel exhibits the grape variety’s hallmark dark fruit flavors and modest acidity. The mindful use of oak was a welcome addition to this wine’s flavor profile and structure by adding notes of enticing spice and softening tannins. While this wine is a serious example of artisan winemaking from a quality region, it doesn’t require a fanciful meal or expensive glassware to appreciate. Serve this wine at room temperature, paired with a good book and your favorite chair. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
