About This Wine

Valle de Viñedo

Cabernet Sauvignon

Valle de Viñedo 2024 is an aromatic and expressive Chilean red that opens with vivid notes of blackberry and black cherry layered over fresh herbs and mocha. On first pour, you may notice a hint of jalapeño and green herbs; with air, these evolve into thyme, oregano, and a subtle touch of tomato leaf, with graphite and cedar adding quiet complexity.

Sourced from vineyards nestled between Chile’s dramatic Andes and sweeping coastline, this wine reflects the country’s striking contrasts. Dry and structured, with a smooth, rounded texture and satisfying weight, it finishes long, carried by dark fruit and savory herbal notes. Balanced and lively, it’s ideal for sharing with fellow enthusiasts. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.

Wine Region

Valle Central

Valle Central

The expansive, warm flatlands of Chile's Valle Central are home to most of the country's vineyards. This long stretch of land from Santiago to Itata Valley is divided into four sub-regions, each with its own climate and reputation. There is Maipo Valley with its minty Cabernet Sauvignon, Rapel Valley with its spicy Carménère and the Curicó and Maule Valleys, famous for concentrated Carignan made from old vines. Throughout the valley—which is prized for its rich, volcanic soils—the hot days and cool nights result in ripe, well-balanced grapes. Some of the most common Valle Central wines are fruit-forward reds made from plummy Merlot and pear-flavored whites crafted from Chardonnay.
