About This Wine

Trois Saletés

This exceptional wine is part of our Fine Wine Collection.

Winemaking Our blend showcases the winemaking traditions of the Rhône Valley and the unique qualities of its vineyards. Crafted using time-honored techniques, this blend artfully combines classic Rhône varietals to achieve a harmonious balance of their unique characteristics. The use of oak barrels imparts spice and structure, ensuring a complex wine that captures the essence of its origins.

Vintage The 2022 vintage in the Rhône Valley was marked by resilience in the face of challenging conditions. Despite heatwaves, drought, and hailstorms, the valley persevered to produce high-quality wines by capitalizing on the benefits of these weather events and successfully avoiding their potential pitfalls. This resulted in richly concentrated red wines made from smaller yields that showcase the expertise of local vintners and the exceptional quality of this historic terroir.

Pairing Logic Our rich, oaky and spicy blend allows for versatile food pairings. Its full body, structured tannins, and balanced acidity complement both meat and vegetarian dishes with savory, earthy, and robust flavors, such as hearty stews, grilled red meats, and starchy roasted vegetables. Examples of complementary sauces, seasonings, and marinades include rosemary sauces, garlic, thyme, and soy-ginger-five-spice marinades. The wine’s spicy character enhances these by either mirroring or contrasting their flavors, offering a harmonious culinary experience.

Wine Region

Côtes du Rhône

Many of France's best-value red wines come from Côtes du Rhône. The appellation covers the entire Rhône Valley, which is responsible for some of the country's boldest wines. Most Côtes du Rhône wine is red, ripe and fruity, made using a technique called semi-carbonic maceration (a method also used frequently in Beaujolais). This adds flavors of kirsch and even banana to the typical notes of black fruit, red fruit and Provençal herbs. Most grapes for Côtes du Rhône are grown on the warm, windswept plains of the Southern Rhône. And, as always for Southern Rhône wines, the GSM (Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre) blend reigns supreme.
