About This Wine
Tomé
Verdejo
With the newest release from the award-winning Tomé you won’t have to debate about what to open at your next dinner get-together. Verdejo is a light-bodied white wine that grows almost exclusively in Spain. It has bright acidity and a firm minerality that frames the fruity kumquat, cantaloupe, lime, and guava flavors. This profile makes it an ideal “food wine” as the high acid and subtle bitterness work magically as a palate cleanser. We think it is best with savory dishes like fish tacos, pork loin, or even a fried tofu dish. Judges love it too. It took home 90 Points and a Gold medal from the 2019 Monterey International Wine Competition and a Silver medal at the 2019 International Eastern Wine Competition!

Tasting Notes

This is a wonderful Spanish white wine. The high acidity and rich fruit flavors work together beautifully, and a subtle bitterness works overtime as a palate cleanser. In our opinion, the best pairings for this wine are savory dishes that offset the fruit flavors.
