About This Wine
Theave
Pinot Noir
Few places are more perfect for growing Pinot Noir than the Los Carneros region of Northern California. The appellation crosses into both Sonoma and Napa, making it incredibly unique for the region. Cool and often foggy mornings coupled with warm and sunny days provide an idyllic environment for Pinot Noir which is often considered to be one of the pickiest and most fussy grapes. The growing season for this specific wine was a bit all over the place. The dry weather caused an extremely slow ripening process, and heat spikes followed by bouts of cooler temperatures made grapes work extremely hard to properly develop flavors. Made in an Old World style, this wine is beautifully well rounded and guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. Dried herb notes and deep red fruit flavors make each sip both juicy and savory at the same time. Perfect on its own or paired with your favorite pork dishes during a cool fall evening.

Notes of dried oregano and mixed herbs hit the nose immediately. A hint of graphite pencil shavings finishes the sniff. Bright and deep red fruit flavors of pomegranate and cranberry make your mouth pucker but also makes it water for another glass.
