About This Wine

The Perfect No. 6

Shiraz

Our family-owned, 4th generation winemaking partners have helped craft a richly flavored and full-bodied Shiraz. Rooted in slow draining, sandy loam, and clay soils, these vines can access moisture long enough to combat the ever-present threat of drought. This allows them to tolerate the region's extremely high temperatures. The thick-skinned Shiraz (Syrah) grapes take advantage of the abundant Australian sunshine to develop lush dark fruit flavors, which results in deep, dark wines with almost syrup-like characteristics. Our winemaking partners place importance on sustainable farming practices and the use of organic materials. The fruit was harvested at peak ripeness and fermented for seven days in stainless steel tanks to emphasize intense fruit flavor while maintaining a sense of freshness. The use of light oak contact offers subtle notes of spice. This wine is a delicious representation of the union between winemaker and land. Wine Region

South Australia

From juicy, full-bodied Shiraz and bold Rhône-style blends to deliciously buttery, oak-touched Chardonnay and surprisingly elegant Rieslings, South Australia is renowned for its wide array of crowd-pleasing wines. The key is the state's diverse geography and climate. With hot, dry regions like Riverland and cool, coastal areas like the Adelaide Hills, winemakers have an incredible range of grapes and styles at their disposal. South Australia is responsible for more than half of Australia's total wine production and makes some of the country's most prominent wine labels. It is also home to world-famous regions like Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Clare Valley.
