About This Wine
Still & Co.
Syrah
Each glass of our award-winning Syrah presents an impressive alliance forged between the Old World of wine and the New. With these New World grapes from Washington state's famed Columbia Valley, our winemaking team has crafted a powerful and focused Syrah reminiscent of the classic style found in France's northern Rhône valley. During this vintage, cool and sunny weather conditions allowed for slow ripening, meaning the grapes had plenty of time to develop their rich, concentrated flavors. The oak aging adds a more diverse palate of spice in addition to the pepperiness naturally presented by the Syrah grape variety. When it comes to pairing, this wine is surprisingly versatile. Because our wine makes a firm statement by itself, it can hold its own against more flavorful foods like sausage. On the other hand, if you want the wine to remain the primary focus, serve it with more subtle dishes like roasted vegetables. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.

This wine’s power is first revealed by its inky hue, which is symbolic of the depth of flavor within. Next, pungent aromas of sage and Chinese Five Spice awaken your senses before concentrated black cherry, plum, and graphite flavors join forces to create a complex yet focused palate.
