Sirenia

This 2020 Verdejo is every bit as enchanting as Sirenia’s previous award-winning 2019 release. Mesmerizing notes of citrus and stone fruit evoke feelings of euphoria while enticing sweetness dazzles the senses. Verdejo is a lesser-known but stunning white grape that is native to the warm, sandy soils of Spain. The grapes in this bottle were harvested from vines that range in age from 25 to 30 years. The mysterious magic of old vines is recognized across the wine world. These plants produce less fruit, but the flavor concentration in each berry is higher than the fruit of a younger vine. This results in a rich, luscious flavor that is representative of a well-established vineyard. Our Verdejo was fermented in stainless steel tanks to let this high-quality harvest express its immense sea of flavors.
