Vineyards here reach some of the highest elevations worldwide, often grown at 2,600 to 4,000 feet above sea level. The dry, scorching days are significantly impacted by the altitude. Afternoon winds from the western side of the nearby Andes Mountains alleviate the high daytime temperatures across the plateau. Here the soils are low in fertility and quick-draining, which creates an ideal environment for wine growing. Our newest vintage of Rancho Campo Malbec represents the rich heritage of Argentinian winemaking. Full-bodied and lush, this wine features dark fruit flavors and velvety tannins.
