About This Wine
Punt Comú
Cava Brut Rosé
Spain’s Mediterranean climate is perfect for winegrowing, so it’s no surprise that one of the world’s favorite sparkling wines, cava, comes from Spain. Warm, dry days during the growing season are tempered by the nearby Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. This environment creates fruit with concentrated flavors and beautiful natural acidity that can be seen in the final bottles produced. Cava is native to Catalonia, a region within Spain along the Mediterranean coast, and is named after the stone cellars—the cavas—where the wine is aged. The light and delicate style was first made in the late 1800s and has been a crowd-pleaser ever since. Our Punt Comú Cava Brut Rosé, made with 100 percent Trepat grapes, is full-bodied and fruit-forward, with a beautiful red-fruit palate. This wine features a frothy delicate effervescence that makes it easy to sip and quite delicious. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
