About This Wine

Pro-Found

Sauvignon Blanc

This exceptional wine is part of our Fine Wine Collection.

Winemaking Our winemakers emphasize pure fruit preservation and structural clarity throughout the cellar process. After harvesting at optimal fruit maturity, we utilize whole-cluster pressing to capture the most pristine juice from the berries. The must is systematically divided into a mix of concrete eggs, neutral French oak, and stainless steel tanks for fermentation. This complex vessel dynamic builds refined mid-palate texture without altering the primary aromatics. Bottling occurs early to trap the clean, electric snap of the vintage directly inside the bottle.

Vintage Our Sauvignon Blanc comes from the southern reaches of Napa Valley within the Los Carneros AVA. This cool-climate zone is heavily defined by persistent, foggy winds rolling off San Pablo Bay, which effectively slow down the ripening cycle. Bud break arrived smoothly for the 2025 vintage following consistent winter rainfall that replenished the deep water reserves of the soil. The summer growing window remained temperate and clear, allowing the grapes to steadily accumulate tropical flavor depth while locking in an extraordinarily vibrant, racy acidity profile.

Pairing Logic This Sauvignon Blanc is light, crisp and highly energetic. Its explosive tropical notes and mouthwatering acidity serve as a brilliant palate cleanser against creamy, rich elements or light, fried seafood dishes. Fresh goat cheese crostini presents a classic pairing, as the cheese’s tang matches the wine's acidity line perfectly. Pan-fried crab cakes with lemon aioli complement the juicy pear and citrus finish, while crispy vegetarian spring rolls accompanied by a sweet chili dipping sauce create an exciting sweet and savory harmony with the wine's exotic fruit profile.

Wine Region

Napa Valley

Napa Valley

Napa gained international acclaim following the Judgement of Paris in 1976, when its wines defeated its French counterparts in a blind tasting. Napa's signature wines are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and various Bordeaux blends, but many other varieties, such as Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc also thrive here. With 16 sub-AVAs and a Mediterranean climate with rich geology, Napa is a winemaker's dream. The winegrowing region runs between the Mayacamas Mountains and Vaca Mountains for 30 miles, from Calistoga to Los Carneros. Napa has a wide array of soil types for such a small region, from volcanic foothills to alluvial valley floors, which help to produce varied and complex wines.
