About This Wine
Penrose Hill
Chardonnay
When it comes to American Chardonnay, it doesn’t get better than this. Our lush and fruit-forward wine hails from America’s single best region for growing Burgundian grapes. The cool, foggy climate of the Russian River Valley, a renowned viticultural area in the heart of California’s Sonoma County, nurtures Chardonnay grapes into something with no equal in the nation. Once the grapes are picked early, they’re hand-sorted, gently pressed and aged in French oak barrels for 10 months before bottling.
