About This Wine

My Family Cellars

Red Wine

Taste the best our family has to offer in this beautifully sourced Red blend from vineyards in California’s North Coast growing region. The area enjoyed a cooler than average growing season, which is perfect for inky, complex wines. This Red has a beautiful color, with dark fruit flavors of blackberry and stewed black cherry that play off of hints of tobacco and baking spices. The complex structure will allow this wine to pair with full-bodied dishes like barbecue, lamb chops, or pork tenderloin. This is a rich wine, not to be missed.

Wine Region

North Coast

North Coast

The North Coast AVA is a vast "super region" covering three million acres of prime land north of San Francisco. It encompasses the famous wine counties of Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino, as well as Lake, Marin and Solano. While most wines from these counties are made under one of the prestigious regional AVAs, winemakers can also blend grapes from different counties. In this way, they create wines that show off the quality of the entire region and are not limited to specific terroirs. Common varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel.

Tasting Notes

  • A figure representing the Blackberry tasting note. Blackberry
  • A figure representing the Tobacco tasting note. Tobacco
  • A figure representing the Black Cherry tasting note. Black Cherry

We love the dark color, but the tasting notes are even better. With blackberry, black cherry, and hints of tobacco and spice we keep coming back to this wine.
