About This Wine
Munro Leaf's Ferdinand
Rosé of Garnacha
The La Mancha region in central Spain is the country's oldest appellation. Plantings date back centuries, and the region covers almost half a million acres of vines. Grapes planted in La Mancha sit anywhere from valley floors to nearly 2,000 feet and experience a typical continental climate. With hot and dry temperatures and little rainfall during the growing season, varietals that are dark-skinned and require little babysitting thrive. Drastic temperature drops at night give the fruit a chance to breathe a bit and develop natural acidity. The Garnacha (Grenache) sourced for our beautiful wine had incredibly bold and concentrated flavors, so utilizing it for Rosé resulted in a weighty and dry wine that will surprise your tastebuds.
