About This Wine
Marie Chardon
Sauvignon Blanc
Marie Chardon 2015 Sauvignon Blanc is a multiple award -winning wine made with 100% estate grown, organic fruit. This Mendocino County gem was carefully fermented in stainless steel to give it a citrusy minerality and a classically crisp finish, and has won silver medals at both the 2016 Harvest Challenge and 2017 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
Though the Potter Valley is a relative newcomer to the world of California wine, it’s superb grapes have left a lasting impression on the famed Mendocino County. Located 200 feet above the surrounding area, the valley enjoys an abundance of strong sunlight, fresh breezes, and cool weather. This climate mixed with the mineral dense soils of the surrounding Russian River, make the Potter Valley ideal for producing a uniquely crisp and delicious Sauvignon Blanc.
Hand-picked exclusively from estate grown, organic fruit and made by one of the region’s pioneer winemakers, the Marie Chardon 2015 perfectly demonstrates the incredible quality of wines the Potter Valley has to offer. Refreshing flavors of Bosc pear, honeydew melon, and grapefruit predominate this Sauvignon Blanc with cool notes of cream to complement the fruity zest, and a crisp finish that perfectly punctuates every sip.
