About This Wine

Mamma Mia!

White Wine

The Mamma Mia! White Wine Blend is an exciting and refreshing white wine that we are very excited to bring into the club. Coming from the 2015 vintage that was blessed with a mild spring and a warm, dry summer, the grapes were perfectly-ripened at harvest. Straw yellow in color, this vintage has intense notes of peach, citrus, tropical fruit, and flowers. We think that the natural acidity and slightly sweet finish are worth experiencing and will give you a taste of Italy along the way.

Wine Region

Italy

While France takes the crown for the most famous wines styles and grape varieties, Italy is where wine was first perfected. The ancient Greeks called it Oenotria—"land of the vines"—and the Roman Empire advanced grape growing and winemaking to a level of quality we still enjoy today. But behind Italy's best-known wines, such as Chianti, Barolo and prosecco, there's an almost endless diversity of delights awaiting the intrepid explorer. The key to understanding Italian wine is regionality and (of course) food. From the aromatic and sparkling whites of the north to Sicily's rich and spicy reds, Italy offers wine lovers a lifetime of gastronomic treats.

This wine is great for pairing or on it's own, but we've found it to taste best by the water. Try it by the pool, the lake, or any body of water you've got at hand.
