Our Luxana Viognier is everything you hope for from a wine with "lux" in its name. Each swirl is filled with ripe stone fruit and honey characteristics. If you are new to Viognier, this is an excellent introduction. If you are already familiar with the varietal, you'll find the plush textures and layers of flavor you know and love. This aromatic French grape variety has made a home in the soils of Lodi, California. Since the 1850s, these vineyards have been a New World haven for many of France's classic grapes. Ripening grapes enjoy warm, sunny afternoons interrupted only by the rustle of calm delta breezes through the vines. This luxurious and leisurely lifestyle creates ripe, fruity wines with satisfying freshness. Enjoy our Viognier well-chilled with your favorite summer salad or sweet and spicy Thai dishes. Wine Region

Lodi

The jewel of the Central Valley, Lodi lies just east of the California Delta in an area of varied terroir. Winemakers here can extract different grape variety expressions from each plot of land. Zinfandel is common here, making deeply fruity and tantalizingly smoky wines, often from old vines. But the deep loamy soils and balmy Mediterranean climate, with its warm days and cool nights, help keep Lodi's grape varieties and winemaking styles impressively diverse. Alongside the ubiquitous Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Viognier also thrive. Lodi is a melting pot of different grape varieties and winemaking techniques, all of which make it a rewarding region to explore.
