Our newest vintage of this award-winning Viognier just earned it's first 93 points and Gold Medal in 2020. While many competitions have been delayed this year, we were fortunate to be able to participate in the 2020 Critics Choice International Wine & Spirits Competition and even more fortunate to earn these accolades. Our 2018 Viognier is for those who love to stop and smell the roses. Grown in California’s Central Coast where sunny days are moderated by cooler temperatures at night, this wine is a perfect representation of the varietal. A rich body, an oily texture, and pronounced aromatics are paired with green fruit flavors. Approachable and perfect on its own or paired with your favorite dishes.

California's Central Coast might be a bit quieter than Napa or Sonoma to the north, but this lesser-known region produces many world-class wines. Enjoying incredible terroir along its vast 280-mile stretch—from San Francisco Bay to Santa Barbara—Central Coast wines are increasingly in demand. Its position between the Pacific Coast Ranges and the Southern Coast Ranges is key to its quality, with many cool-climate AVAs offering elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. In the hotter parts of the Central Coast, away from the coastal fogs and cold mountain slopes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre are exceptional.
