About This Wine

Longitude 120 West

Cabernet Sauvignon

Napa Valley is arguably one of the most famous winegrowing regions in the world, and for good reason. The rolling hills, valley floors, and picturesque scenery make you feel like you’re always on vacation. The climate is near-perfect for grape growing — dry, hot days are relieved by foggy, cool temperatures at night, creating a continental Mediterranean climate. The valley is flanked by two mountain ranges and is a short distance from the Pacific Ocean, so the environment gives fruit ample room to fully ripen while also retaining acidity and developing highly concentrated flavors. Our newest vintage of this 94 point, Platinum award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied, textural, and an absolutely classic representation of the crowd favorite varietal. Robust and featuring bold texture, this wine has dark fruit flavors, savory, earthy notes, and dry tannins that will make you go back for glass after glass. Wine Region

Napa Valley

Napa gained international acclaim following the Judgement of Paris in 1976, when its wines defeated its French counterparts in a blind tasting. Napa's signature wines are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and various Bordeaux blends, but many other varieties, such as Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc also thrive here. With 16 sub-AVAs and a Mediterranean climate with rich geology, Napa is a winemaker's dream. The winegrowing region runs between the Mayacamas Mountains and Vaca Mountains for 30 miles, from Calistoga to Los Carneros. Napa has a wide array of soil types for such a small region, from volcanic foothills to alluvial valley floors, which help to produce varied and complex wines.
