About This Wine

Cabernet Sauvignon

"In a class by itself for its buoyancy and finely defined fruit, speaking to the cherry side of Cabernet Sauvignon in a way suave and seductive." - Mike Dunne, 2020 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition. In Napa Valley, there is a saying: “Cab is King.” In this incredible Cabernet from Longitude 120 West, you can discover why Napa is known the world over, and why Cabernet truly reigns supreme. Opus One, Mondavi, and Screaming Eagle all call Napa home, and make some of the finest wines in the world. This Napa Cab stands toe to toe with them. After garnering its first two Gold medals and 90+ points, we are thrilled to announce that our winemakers have earned us 94 points and a Platinum medal from the 2020 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition for not only our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon but also our Horse Heaven Hills, Washington expression of Longitude 120 West. It was aged for 15 months in American oak and bottled early to preserve the fresh flavors. This Cab has a classic Napa profile with floral aromas mingling with dark fruit. It’s fruit-forward with dry, chalky tannins. Get ready to taste a truly exceptional wine fed by the sun and soils of storied Napa vineyards. Wine Region

Napa Valley

Napa gained international acclaim following the Judgement of Paris in 1976, when its wines defeated its French counterparts in a blind tasting. Napa's signature wines are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and various Bordeaux blends, but many other varieties, such as Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc also thrive here. With 16 sub-AVAs and a Mediterranean climate with rich geology, Napa is a winemaker's dream. The winegrowing region runs between the Mayacamas Mountains and Vaca Mountains for 30 miles, from Calistoga to Los Carneros. Napa has a wide array of soil types for such a small region, from volcanic foothills to alluvial valley floors, which help to produce varied and complex wines.

Tasting Notes

  • A figure representing the Oak tasting note. Oak
  • A figure representing the Rose Petal tasting note. Rose Petal
  • A figure representing the Black Cherry tasting note. Black Cherry

This is a fruit-forward Napa Cabernet with a classic flavor profile. We love the fruit, but it’s the graphite, tobacco, and floral notes that keep us coming back.
