Sauvignon Blanc

Earning the title of "Best of Class" and 98 Points for an appellated Sauvignon Blanc in the 2020 Sunset Magazine International Wine Competition, this white wine is the perfect pairing for a crisp fall day, your favorite book, and the fading sun. Our wine concierge have been gearing up for the changing season and are getting in as many hours spent outside as they can. This youthful and vibrant white is the ideal accompaniment to any outdoor afternoon. We especially love the fruit flavors and aromas that jump out of the glass, showing off the Clements Hills, a sub-AVA of Lodi, grapes that make up most of this wine. Try pairing this wine with fresh dishes: freshly picked vegetables, roasted chicken, and even homemade pasta. Our prior vintage took home a Double Gold at the 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition - we are setting our sites on 2021 for the trifecta!

Wine Region

Clements Hills

Part of the larger Lodi AVA, Clements Hill sits between the Sierra Foothills and the California Delta, benefiting from the influence of both. Its Mediterranean-like climate and crumbly soils make Clements Hill well suited to growing Spanish grape varieties. Tempranillo, Garnacha (Grenache) and Albariño grow well in the dry heat of the region, as do Zinfandel, Syrah and Viognier. To survive, the vines have to force their roots deep into the loamy-granite earth to find water, which naturally restricts yields and grape size. All of this helps give Clements Hill wines their structure and concentration.
