About This Wine

La Belle France

Bordeaux Rouge

Much like the cobblestone streets of Bordeaux, this wine evokes a sense of beauty, history, and tradition. The renowned reputation of this French winemaking powerhouse can often seem intimidating. However, the winemakers at La Belle France strive to use their wines to translate and share the best this region has to offer to the modern-day wine drinker. Our multi-award-winning Bordeaux Rouge does just that. You don't need a French accent or fancy wine certifications to appreciate this for what it is: a great wine. With all the Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated splendor of Left Bank blends, this wine offers a complex palate full of rich, dark fruit flavor complemented by savory notes. You can enjoy a bottle now paired with your favorite cheeses or let it rest in the cellar for a bit to rediscover on a special occasion. Like the region from which it hails, this wine is a timeless treasure.. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.

Wine Region

Bordeaux

Probably the world's most famous wine region, Bordeaux is a true powerhouse of French quality. While Bordeaux is home to some of the country's most expensive bottles, it is also possible to find great-value wines from small producers. Almost all red and white wines from Bordeaux are blends. Reds tend to be a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. But just as important as the blends are the quality of the region's terroir and unique winemaking techniques. The Bordeaux region is divided by the Gironde River into two main parts. Cabernet Sauvignon reigns supreme on the Left Bank, while Merlot dominates the Right Bank. White wines are usually a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.
