About This Wine

Iron Arrow

White Blend

The varietals that make up this beautiful White Blend—Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay—all love the climate, and the culmination of their best characteristics can be seen in this delicious and bright wine. The terroir in the Columbia Valley in Washington State is desert-like—hot and dry. Unlike the wet and cold climate that many expect the Pacific Northwest to have, this appellation is incredibly unique within the region. Tucked into the central part of the state, vines planted in the area see very little rainfall during the growing season, but cool evenings provide some relief. Because of this environment, fruit that enjoys the heat and is not finicky thrives here. Riesling brings forward a gorgeous aroma of white florals, Sauvignon Blanc's classic bright fruit flavors come out, and Chardonnay's creamy texture brings it all together at the end of every sip. With a balanced acidity, no added residual sugar, and a mouthwatering crispness, this wine is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.

Wine Region

Columbia Valley

Sheltered by the rain shadow of the Cascade Mountains, Columbia Valley is home to the majority of Washington's vineyards. Cool nights keep zippy acidity in the grapes, while long daylight hours give the fruit plenty of chance to ripen. This results in full-bodied Merlot, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon and deeply concentrated Syrah. White wines are just as tantalizing, with toasty oak-touched Chardonnay and ripe stone fruit-flavored Riesling taking the spotlight. Sub-AVAs to look out for are Yakima Valley and Walla Walla. The Columbia Valley is one of the only appellations in the United States to occupy vineyards in two states, as it crosses the Oregon border in the southern part of the valley.

Tasting Notes

  • A figure representing the Guava tasting note. Guava
  • A figure representing the White Flowers tasting note. White Flowers

Bold white floral aromas swirl out of the glass and meld with fruit-forward notes of bright lime, green apple, and creamy guava. Weightier than you would assume, a mouthwatering acidity comes together beautifully with a slight sweetness. A more complex texture lengthens every sip.
