About This Wine

International Press

Cabernet Sauvignon

International Press is back with a new adventure. This time they’ve journeyed south of the equator and returned with an authentic taste of Down Under. Hallmark aromas of eucalyptus join ripe dark fruit flavors and round textures to make our Cabernet Sauvignon a signature example of Australia’s New World style. South Australia is known for its diverse climate and geography, with cool conditions along the coast and warm inland vineyards. Thick-skinned Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thrive in the desert-like areas in the region. Well-suited to high heat and arid conditions, these hardy grapes have made a name for themselves since the early 1800s, producing wines with more decadent flavors and denser textures than other well-known global styles. Our Cabernet is rich, flavorful, and bold, making it a great addition to a backyard barbecue shared with your closest travel companions. Wine Region

South Australia

From juicy, full-bodied Shiraz and bold Rhône-style blends to deliciously buttery, oak-touched Chardonnay and surprisingly elegant Rieslings, South Australia is renowned for its wide array of crowd-pleasing wines. The key is the state's diverse geography and climate. With hot, dry regions like Riverland and cool, coastal areas like the Adelaide Hills, winemakers have an incredible range of grapes and styles at their disposal. South Australia is responsible for more than half of Australia's total wine production and makes some of the country's most prominent wine labels. It is also home to world-famous regions like Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Clare Valley.

Tasting Notes

  • A figure representing the Eucalyptus tasting note. Eucalyptus
  • A figure representing the Licorice tasting note. Licorice
  • A figure representing the Blackcurrant tasting note. Blackcurrant

The refreshing aroma of eucalyptus—whose trees surround the vineyard and whose leaves impact the nearby grapes—is a tell-tale sign of our Cabernet’s origins. A plush body boasts blackcurrant and licorice flavors due to ample sunlight, further expressing this sense of place.
