About This Wine
International Press
Cabernet Sauvignon
International Press is back with a new adventure. This time they’ve journeyed south of the equator and returned with an authentic taste of Down Under. Hallmark aromas of eucalyptus join ripe dark fruit flavors and round textures to make our Cabernet Sauvignon a signature example of Australia’s New World style. South Australia is known for its diverse climate and geography, with cool conditions along the coast and warm inland vineyards. Thick-skinned Cabernet Sauvignon grapes thrive in the desert-like areas in the region. Well-suited to high heat and arid conditions, these hardy grapes have made a name for themselves since the early 1800s, producing wines with more decadent flavors and denser textures than other well-known global styles. Our Cabernet is rich, flavorful, and bold, making it a great addition to a backyard barbecue shared with your closest travel companions. Tasting Notes
- Eucalyptus
- Licorice
- Blackcurrant
The refreshing aroma of eucalyptus—whose trees surround the vineyard and whose leaves impact the nearby grapes—is a tell-tale sign of our Cabernet’s origins. A plush body boasts blackcurrant and licorice flavors due to ample sunlight, further expressing this sense of place.
