Hailing from the Coastal Region of the Western Cape of South Africa, this Pinotage is made to be enjoyed with friends and food. The fruit sourced for this wine is from areas with shale and granite soils which allows wines to develop beautiful depth and nuances that jump out at you in the glass. Aged in stainless steel tanks, this wine is layered and complex - red fruit and subtly sweet flavors harmonize together, making this far too easy to drink. An ideal complement to traditional South African dishes, this will impress everyone at your table. Vintages may vary.

Covering most of the Western Cape, the Coastal Region is the beating heart of South Africa's wine industry. Cooled by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and sheltered by mountains to the south and east, the region enjoys perfect conditions for grapevines to thrive. This is where you will find the world-famous sub-regions of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Wines labeled as Coastal Region are likely to be made from grapes sourced from a few different sub-zones, taking advantage of a wide range of mesoclimates and soil types. Look out for South Africa's flagship grapes: rounded Chenin Blanc, bold, figgy Pinotage and international grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Shiraz too.
