About This Wine

Incarnadine

Viognier-Pinot Grigio

Paso Robles is famously known for the greatest day-to-night temperature swing in California. Because of its unique climate it is ideal for highly concentrated red wines, but also offers an amazing canvas for beautiful whites as well. This wine is a one-of-a-kind marriage of two classic varietals - Pinot Grigio and Viognier. Pinot Grigio brings forward flavors which provide mouthwatering acidity, while Viognier adds a weighty almost oily richness to the body. Uniquely playful, this wine is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!

Wine Region

Paso Robles

California's fastest-growing wine region is quickly gaining an international reputation for its innovative and boundary-breaking wines. Located halfway between LA and San Francisco, the Paso Robles AVA in San Luis Obispo County has two main zones. The eastern side has a hot and sunny climate with deep, rich soils producing plush, fruity wines with sweet ripe flavors. To the west, the cooling influence of the Pacific brings a zingy backbone to rich Zinfandel and Rhône favorites like Syrah and Viognier. Italian varietals like Sangiovese and Nebbiolo are also favorites of Paso Robles grape growers and wine drinkers.

This Pinot Grigio Viognier blend is well balanced and exciting. Fruit forward flavors and crisp acidity of tart lemon and lime, pear, white nectarine, and green apple from Pinot Grigio are complimented by the weighty texture and body of Viognier with ripe peach and honeysuckle notes.
