About This Wine
Hawthorne Grove
Pinot Noir
Created by acclaimed winemaker Joe Otos and produced from Pinot grown in California’s renowned Monterey wine region, this luscious red won Gold at the 2016 New York International Wine Competition, Silver at the 2016 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and another Silver at the 2016 Los Angeles International Wine Challenge. It's delicate and silky, with flavors of red fruits, black raspberry, leather and spiced plum. We liked it so much, we bought the entire inventory for Firstleaf members, so it’s only available here. Sara Schneider, Wine Editor at Sunset magazine, loved it, too, describing it as "a complex mix of dark cherry, loam, and spice... wrapped in pretty floral aromas with a hit of black pepper."
