About This Wine

Gilded Letter

Chardonnay

Our Sonoma County Chardonnay is truly perfection. Sonoma County sits along the Pacific Ocean and stretches inland toward Napa Valley. It has the diurnal temperature shift of morning fog, hot dry days, and cool nights during the growing season that makes it a stunning place to grow grapes, particularly Chardonnay which needs just the right amount of sunshine for ripening but also needs cooler influences to develop and retain concentrated flavors. Sourced from some of the most pristine vineyards in the region, this wine has a rich and complex palate. Flavors of ripe stone fruits and baked pastry notes come forward in the glass. Excellent for drinking during sunset on a warm summer night.

Wine Region

Sonoma County

Many of California's world-class wines come from Sonoma County, separated from Napa by the Mayacamas Mountains. Three times the size of Napa, Sonoma is an incredibly diverse region. Cool coastal zones, fog-cloaked hillsides, sheltered valleys and craggy exposed peaks give Sonoma a vast array of terroirs and microclimates. Its many sub-regions produce a broad range of styles: from the bold Cabernets of Alexander Valley to the fragrant Pinots of Sonoma Coast and the sublime Chardonnays of Chalk Hill.
