Gilded Letter

In Northern California, the Alexander Valley appellation is the largest wine-growing region in Sonoma County, located about an hour outside of San Francisco. The region sits in the most northern part of the famous town of Healdsburg and boasts wildflower dotted rolling hills and romantic curving country roads. The climate is perfectly suited for grape growing, thanks to the warm and sunny days followed by significantly cooler evenings. Thanks to the influences of the Russian River and the nearby Pacific Ocean, the diurnal temperature shift the region experiences gives fruit sufficient time to fully ripen while also developing natural acidity and concentrated flavors. Our 2018 Gilded Letter Chardonnay is a beautiful reflection of the beloved varietal. Medium-bodied and easy-drinking, this wine embodies all the best characteristics of a classic Chardonnay.
