About This Wine

Four and Twenty

Cabernet Sauvignon

The Four and Twenty Cabernet Sauvignon presents an exquisite symphony of fruity and oaky notes, showcasing the Columbia Valley's distinctive terroir and the craftsmanship of our expert winemaking. This wine leads with a delightful bouquet of warm baking spices, cassis, caramel, plums, and hints of red cherry and pomegranate, all in perfect harmony. On the palate, juicy blackberry and ripe plum reduction flavors resonate with a pleasant sweetness, a testament to the quality and concentration of the fruit nurtured in this picturesque wine region. Columbia Valley's cool climate allows the fruit to retain its vibrant character, while the extended growing season ensures optimal ripeness while maintaining its natural balancing acidity. The result is an elegant Cabernet Sauvignon that balances its Old-World structure and the fruit-forward charm of the New World. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.

Four and Twenty 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley, Washington

Wine Region

Columbia Valley

Sheltered by the rain shadow of the Cascade Mountains, Columbia Valley is home to the majority of Washington's vineyards. Cool nights keep zippy acidity in the grapes, while long daylight hours give the fruit plenty of chance to ripen. This results in full-bodied Merlot, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon and deeply concentrated Syrah. White wines are just as tantalizing, with toasty oak-touched Chardonnay and ripe stone fruit-flavored Riesling taking the spotlight. Sub-AVAs to look out for are Yakima Valley and Walla Walla. The Columbia Valley is one of the only appellations in the United States to occupy vineyards in two states, as it crosses the Oregon border in the southern part of the valley.
