About This Wine
Four and Twenty
Cabernet Sauvignon
Multi-award winner Joe Otos created this juicy, aromatic red with grapes from the Wine Enthusiast 2015 Wine Region of the Year. The result is a delectable Cabernet that won a Silver Medal at the 2016 Los Angeles International Wine Challenge. Located at the edge of the San Joaquin/Sacramento River Delta and referred to as California’s best kept secret for Cabernet Sauvignon, Lodi produces deliciously full-flavored varietal wines with a refreshing acidity thanks to the “delta breezes” that naturally cool the region throughout the growing season. Known for its concentrated and rich wines, Lodi has a classically Mediterranean climate and a varied soil makeup that in some parts resembles the terroir of the renowned French region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Expressive of these conditions with rich flavors of plum, cherry and blackcurrant and a long, balanced finish, the 2014 Four and Twenty is a medium-bodied and satisfying wine that complements a variety of food.
