About This Wine
Fifth Note Cellars
Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Fifth Note Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon is fine-tuned for excellence. This food-friendly wine is full-bodied and fruit forward with the ideal level of oak influence. This classic Sonoma County Cab is a delicious standalone wine, but turn the label around, and you’ll discover an exciting, masterfully curated culinary experience. Brunch is served complete with wine-soaked berries and a cheeseboard. This Cab’s structured tannins will match up nicely with hard cheeses like aged Gruyère or Parmesan. A roasted butternut squash soup is on the lunch menu, complemented by our wine’s subtle spice and modest acidity. For dinner, we’ve suggested this Cabernet Sauvignon with roast leg of lamb. The salt in the meat will highlight our wine’s fruitiness while hardy tannins work to break down chewy proteins making for a harmonious experience of texture and flavor in each bite. Bon Appétit!
