When the spring sun shines down on the California vineyards it brings new life to areas that have been largely dormant for the winter. Roads in wine country start to get busier, and winemakers start spending their days getting ready for harvest, anxiously watching over the vines. The Ephemera Merlot is like tasting the history of California winemaking in a glass. You can taste the intensity that comes from the sun exposure on grapes. We love that it is a perfect complement to almost any steakhouse offering. Try it with grilled meats, or with something a little spicy—the soft palate allows for pairing with well-seasoned dishes.
