About This Wine

Elena Lora

Cabernet Sauvignon

This exceptional wine is part of our Fine Wine Collection.

Winemaking Winemakers focus on gentle extraction to preserve Cabernet Sauvignon’s fine aromatics, carefully drawing out vivid notes of blackcurrant, rose petal, and tea leaf without overwhelming the palate. Select lots age in French oak, where measured time in barrel builds layers of vanilla and toasted spice while refining the wine’s structure. Warm days moderated by elevation allow full ripeness with aromatic lift, resulting in a Cabernet that balances richness and texture with freshness and a clear sense of place.

Vintage The story of 2024 is one of sunlight and altitude in deliberate conversation across a long, steady season. During 2024, alluvial soils and controlled snowmelt irrigation worked in tandem to moderate vigor and concentrate the fruit set by that year’s generous warmth. The climactic consistency of 2024 granted an unhurried path to ripeness, inviting meticulous picking and restrained extraction in the cellar. In every sense, this 2024 vintage reflects a year when nature and timing aligned, yielding a Cabernet Sauvignon sculpted by its season.

Pairing Logic This Cabernet Sauvignon doesn’t ask for a meal—it demands a feast. Pour it beside charred ribeye dripping with rosemary butter, slow-braised short ribs, or fire-kissed portobello mushrooms glazed in balsamic and black pepper, and let the blackcurrant depth and graphite edge lock arms with smoke and fat. A wedge of aged cheddar or a vanilla-kissed demi-glace will echo the oak’s toasted spice, carrying the wine’s lush fruit and gripping tannins into a finish that refuses to fade.

Wine Region

Mendoza

Mendoza

Mendoza is the heart of Argentinian wine production. It was here where a previously little-known French grape variety called Malbec became a global superstar. With its extreme altitudes and Andean climate, Mendoza nurtures its vineyards in dramatic sun-drenched plateaus set against snow-capped peaks. At these elevations, the intense UV light ripens grapes in a unique way, working with the cold mountain air to create gloriously supple and expressive wines with bold yet brightly aromatic fruit. Mendoza's high-quality varietals from Bonarda, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are also notable, as are its fine Torrontés, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from sub-regions such as Maipú, Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley.
