About This Wine

Earth's Draw

Pinot Noir

California's many winegrowing appellations are unique. The landscapes feature giant rolling hills, deep valley floors, and romantic winding roads. The previous vintage of our Gold Medal-winning Earth's Draw Pinot Noir was hugely popular, and our 2018 version is sure to follow suit. It all starts with hard-working farmers, who are meticulous in their care of the vines. Planted in nutrient-rich soil and basking in the warm summer sun, this Pinot is oh-so California. Medium-bodied and featuring bright red fruits, subtle notes of spice, and well-balanced acidity, the resulting wine is soft, plush, and opulent. It's a classic New World take on this Old World varietal. The newest vintage of our multi-award-winning wine, this bottle will have you reaching for your apron to whip up a delicious meal and might even inspire you to book your next wine country vacation. Wine Region

California

California is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. Spanning 850 miles along North America's west coast—and inland across mountains and valleys—California's American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) cover a dizzying array of terroir. The cold, deep waters of the Pacific Ocean play a major role in cooling California's vineyards, sending fog and chilly air up to 100 miles inland. This tempers the daytime heat and allows grapes to ripen slowly but fully. Cooler-climate grape varieties thrive closest to the sea, while further inland, bigger, bolder wines prevail.
