About This Wine

Disorderly Conduct

Dark Bold Red

Disorderly Conduct is back with the provocative new vintage of our Dark Bold Red. With oak-driven aromas and ripe berry flavors, this powerful blend refuses to fade into the background. California is home to several red grape varieties. With temperate weather and summers that seem to never end, grapes can ripen slowly under the glowing sun. Even this idyllic home can offer challenges. In some years, rainfall can be sparse, creating drought-like conditions. Luckily, grapevines thrive under pressure. When water is scarce, they plunge their roots deep into the earth, searching for moisture in the layers below. Many red grape varieties also have thicker skins, protecting them from sunburn in hot years. Grapevine's resilience and adaptation are crucial to creating wines that inspire you to raise a glass, stand tall against opposition and exceed your expectations. Wine Region

California

California is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. Spanning 850 miles along North America's west coast—and inland across mountains and valleys—California's American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) cover a dizzying array of terroir. The cold, deep waters of the Pacific Ocean play a major role in cooling California's vineyards, sending fog and chilly air up to 100 miles inland. This tempers the daytime heat and allows grapes to ripen slowly but fully. Cooler-climate grape varieties thrive closest to the sea, while further inland, bigger, bolder wines prevail.
