This golden California Sauvignon Blanc is brimming with a bouquet of white flowers that spring off the nose, and the palate is full of rich notes of melon, apple, and apricot. The crisp minerality makes it an ideal wine for pairing. We think it will be especially great with fresh California cuisine: roasted vegetables, fresh salads, and white fish. Judges love it too. It took home 94 Points and a Gold from the 2019 New York International Wine Competition, another 91 Points and a Gold medal from the 2019 Monterey International Wine Competition, and a Silver Medal from the 2020 Winemaker Challenge.

Wine Region

California

California is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. Spanning 850 miles along North America's west coast—and inland across mountains and valleys—California's American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) cover a dizzying array of terroir. The cold, deep waters of the Pacific Ocean play a major role in cooling California's vineyards, sending fog and chilly air up to 100 miles inland. This tempers the daytime heat and allows grapes to ripen slowly but fully. Cooler-climate grape varieties thrive closest to the sea, while further inland, bigger, bolder wines prevail.
