About This Wine

Garnacha-Syrah
Judges awarded the Comarca a gold medal at the 2018 Finger Lakes International Wine Competiton and 90 points and another gold medal at the 2018 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge! The craft and tradition of winemaking has been practiced by monks for at least a thousand years. All across southern Europe, they worked the land, slowly shaping the history of the world through their viniculture. Across the planet, vineyards dot the landscape, but the concentration is especially high in Europe. Campo de Borja is nestled against the Pyrenees and has been farmed since ancient times. With vines that are at least 50 years old the resulting wine is concentrated and has notes of jammy fruit and earth. Our experts love pairing this wine with saffron rice or a gumbo.
