About This Wine

Clârabelle

Sparkling Wine

There’s something about sparkling wine that lingers in the memory. Maybe it’s because we tend to drink it when we are celebrating, or maybe it’s because it is just plain delicious. There’s a myth that you can only have sparkling wines with caviar or cake, but that couldn’t be more untrue. Sparkling wine will pair with almost anything, and you don’t have to save it for a special night—it pairs just as easily with nachos as it does with oysters. Notes of subtle, crisp pear, apple, citrus, and toasted brioche pop in your mouth in the effervescent bubbles. Don’t wait, enjoy the Clarabelle any time that feels right to you!

Region:
For the Clarabelle grapes were selected from the unique California soils best suited for the sparkling wine grapes. Winemaking is a treasure hunt searching all of CA from the coastal vineyards of the Central Coast to the mountainous jagged coastline of northern California - this sparkler takes into account the best that the Golden State has to offer.

Tasting Notes:
This wine shines on almost any occasion, the effervescent bubbles have notes of clean white fruits, a small amount of citrus, and toasted brioche. The sweet flavors are balanced by the natural dryness and high acidity of the wine. Try it with almost any meal for a delightful time.

Wine Region

California

California is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. Spanning 850 miles along North America's west coast—and inland across mountains and valleys—California's American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) cover a dizzying array of terroir. The cold, deep waters of the Pacific Ocean play a major role in cooling California's vineyards, sending fog and chilly air up to 100 miles inland. This tempers the daytime heat and allows grapes to ripen slowly but fully. Cooler-climate grape varieties thrive closest to the sea, while further inland, bigger, bolder wines prevail.
