About This Wine
Cien por Ciento
Bonarda
Our Gold Medal-winning Cien por Ciento Bonarda offers the chance to drink like a local Argentinian. Rich, weighty textures and bold red fruit flavors easily explain how this grape famously won the hearts of Latin America. Bonarda's lineage traces to eastern France, where it is known as "Douce Noir," meaning "sweet black." After arriving in Argentina in the 19th century, Bonarda has become the country's second-most widely planted grape variety. Its wines have woven themselves into the local history and culture. In the famed vineyards of Mendoza, this slow ripener thrives in warmer sites with plenty of access to sunshine and a long, dry growing season. You can find this wine at dinner tables throughout Argentina, where it's often served alongside classic regional delicacies like provoleta and matambre arrollado. Salud! Tasting Notes
- Raspberry

Our Bonarda showcases the grape variety's signature balance of soft textures and lush fruit flavor. Ripe fruit and balsamic aromas lead you to a dry palate with plush textures. Raspberry and plum flavors have evolved to an almost jam-like character with a hint of oak.
