Summer was hot with scattered storms, which kept ripening at a slow and steady pace. Autumn brought heat waves that pushed the grapes to the finish line of plump, beautiful ripeness. This symmetry of sun and rain created excellent conditions for Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes to develop their outgoing fruit flavors and conserve crisp textures.
