About This Wine
Bodewell
Chardonnay
Our 2018 Bodewell Chardonnay is a genuinely luxurious wine, with only 165 cases made from the vintage, and it also is a feel-good purchase—Wine to Water is Firstleaf's official charity—a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing clean drinking water to underserved countries. The vineyards used for our carefully sourced Chardonnay hail from Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley, a region tucked into the northernmost part of Healdsburg, which experiences a traditional continental climate. Warm, dry days filled with sunshine give the fruit a chance to fully ripen, while the chillier evenings create moments for flavor development. This wine is serious and structured with rich, layered, and complex flavors. Notes of stone fruit are complemented by toasty influences that jump out thanks to oak aging. A gorgeous reflection of the varietal, this wine is sure to please all palates. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.

Tasting Notes
- Brioche
- Apricot
- Peach
Rich and lush, this wine is structured, complex, and full of refined flavors. With a medium body, notes of fresh yellow peach and apricot meld together perfectly on the palate. Flavors of toasted brioche and nuttiness come forward thanks to oak aging and complement the fruit notes.
