The three wine regions covering Italy's far northeast—Trentino, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Verona—are known collectively as Tre Venezie, or "the three Venices." Bathed in sunshine yet cooled by the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, this large area produces world-class whites, reds and sparkling wines. Tre Venezie wines are famed for their fresh and food-friendly character.
