About This Wine

Avistelle

Cabernet Sauvignon

Our gifted winemakers at Avistelle have done it again with this elegant Cabernet Sauvignon that is sure to satisfy your craving for the finer things in life. This wine is skillfully crafted from grapes grown in the Columbia Valley of Washington state. On average, the climate here is a bit cooler than other regions around the globe that play host to this thick-skinned grape variety. This results in a lighter and more refined style that invokes feelings of sophistication. As per their mission, our winemakers at Avistelle have given us the royal treatment and taken it upon themselves to address every meticulous detail to ensure that our hands stay clean and our noble heads held high. This wine’s joyful palate will leave you feeling refreshed with graceful red fruit alongside a touch of spice. Treat yourself to a glass of this on its own or partnered with your favorite indulgences. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.

Wine Region

Columbia Valley

Sheltered by the rain shadow of the Cascade Mountains, Columbia Valley is home to the majority of Washington's vineyards. Cool nights keep zippy acidity in the grapes, while long daylight hours give the fruit plenty of chance to ripen. This results in full-bodied Merlot, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon and deeply concentrated Syrah. White wines are just as tantalizing, with toasty oak-touched Chardonnay and ripe stone fruit-flavored Riesling taking the spotlight. Sub-AVAs to look out for are Yakima Valley and Walla Walla. The Columbia Valley is one of the only appellations in the United States to occupy vineyards in two states, as it crosses the Oregon border in the southern part of the valley.

Our Avistelle Cabernet Sauvignon is charming and tasteful. As you swirl, admire its gorgeous deep garnet hue while aromas of fresh mint delight your nose. On the soft palate, flavors of cherry and strawberry show restraint, allowing nuanced notes of spice to appear.
