About This Wine

Acadine

Cabernet Sauvignon

With previous offerings garnering 14 different awards, including multiple gold medals and 90+ point scores, we are pleased to release another captivating creation, our 2019 Acadine Cabernet Sauvignon. The ancient Greeks were true pioneers in the world of winemaking. They understood the importance of accentuating what each grape offers rather than trying to emulate something else. Our Acadine winemakers share this thirst for truth and purity. This wine is the real deal, showing off the beauty of diverse California terroir and skilled winemaking. To highlight the truth and splendor of this popular grape variety takes a well-suited climate. Our Cabernet Sauvignon shows genuine fruit-filled varietal characteristics, which evolved with the help of a long California growing season and rocky, well-drained soils. This is illustrated by the presence of rich, ripe black fruit flavors and a full body. Pair this wine with a plate of salty cheeses to further accentuate its decadent jamminess, or enjoy it with a hearty Beef Bourguignon. Wine Region

California

California is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. Spanning 850 miles along North America's west coast—and inland across mountains and valleys—California's American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) cover a dizzying array of terroir. The cold, deep waters of the Pacific Ocean play a major role in cooling California's vineyards, sending fog and chilly air up to 100 miles inland. This tempers the daytime heat and allows grapes to ripen slowly but fully. Cooler-climate grape varieties thrive closest to the sea, while further inland, bigger, bolder wines prevail.
