About This Wine

25 Degrees

White Blend

Just in! The final international wine competition of 2021 has awarded this wine a Triple Gold Medal on its way to a "Best of Class" designation!
You will be mesmerized by this intensely tropical Chilean white wine blend. This Sauvignon Blanc-dominant wine is full of exotic fruit flavor with peppy acidity that will leave you feeling refreshed. A delicious creation such as this is common to find in Chile, especially in the Maule Valley. This sub-region of the Central Valley is home to well-drained, fertile land composed of loam mixed with alluvial soil types. It also has cooler temperatures than the surrounding areas. This allows ripening Sauvignon Blanc grapes to advance into the realm of warm climate, tropical fruit flavors without losing their refreshing acidity. Chardonnay is another popular grape that finds success here and follows a similar ripening progression as Sauvignon Blanc, in which the warmer the climate, the more exotic the flavors. Its presence in this blend adds a bit more weight and texture, which increases the overall complexity of the wine. The result is a fruit-forward, balanced white that showcases Chilean terroir. Wine Region

Maule Valley

When it comes to well-balanced reds of great value, Chile's Maule Valley is hard to beat. The southernmost part of Chile's Central Valley, Maule is a large sub-region with many microclimates and soil types. The Maule River and the nearby Pacific Ocean both greatly influence its climate. Maule was one of the first places in Chile planted with grapevines. It is famed today for its 100-year-old Carignan vines and the densely sumptuous wines they produce. More typical, however, are its powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, spicy aromatic Carménère and plush Merlot reds. For whites, check out Maule's cheery Sauvignon Blanc and rounded Chardonnay. Chile’s Denominación de Origen (DO) classification system focuses on separating wines by the physical location of origin. To use the DO classification on a label, a producer must have pulled 85 percent of the fruit used in a wine from a defined regional location. The DO system names wine regions in the country from north to south.
