Valle de Viñedo
Valle Central, Chile
Lush tropical fruit flavors and a hint of acidity make our Sauvignon Blanc truly remarkable
ABOUT THIS WINE:
Valle de Viñedo
Sauvignon Blanc
The Valle Central appellation stretches 250 miles down the middle of Chile. One of the largest wine-producing regions in the Southern Hemisphere, the area is home to multiple subregions that each showcase their own unique climates and soils. Experts in their craft in Chile for over 30 years, our winemaking partners love the coastal influences that the nearby Pacific Ocean provides for fruit planted in the appellation. For our Valle de Viñedo Sauvignon Blanc, our winemaking partners chose to work with young vines planted on granite-rich soils, which forces fruit to work incredibly hard for water and nutrients. The result of this environment is highly concentrated flavors and an approachable acidity that makes every sip linger on the palate. Easy-drinking and fresh, this wine is fruit-forward and juicy. Sweetness is complemented by a hint of acidity that makes the tastebuds water. Sc ...

WINE REGION:
Valle Central
The expansive, warm flatlands of Chile's Valle Central are home to most of the country's vineyards. This long stretch of land from Santiago to Itata Valley is divided into four sub-regions, each with its own climate and reputation. There is Maipo Valley with its minty Cabernet Sauvignon, Rapel Valley with its spicy Carménère and the Curicó and Maule Valleys, famous for concentrated Carignan made from old vines. Throughout the valley—which is prized for its rich, volcanic soils—the hot days and cool nights result in ripe, well-balanced grapes. Some of the most common Valle Central wines are fruit-forward reds made from plummy Merlot and pear-flavored whites crafted from Chardonnay.

Opulent tropical fruit flavors of creamy guava and tart mango are complemented by green melon notes and a hint of pineapple Lifesaver. This wine is sweet, but varietal signature acidity balances the rich flavors in a beautiful way.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
Valle de Viñedo
Chile is known for its dramatic landscape, which is unlike any other. As you travel inland from one of the world's longest coastlines, the landscape shifts abruptly, climbing to the extreme heights of the Andes Mountains. Between these soaring peaks, pockets and valleys become the cradle for vineyards, creating the ideal climate for viticulture. Valle de Viñedo wines, too, are unlike any other. With each sip, prepare to be transported.
