WINE REGION:
California
California is one of the most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. Spanning 850 miles along North America's west coast—and inland across mountains and valleys—California's American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) cover a dizzying array of terroir. The cold, deep waters of the Pacific Ocean play a major role in cooling California's vineyards, sending fog and chilly air up to 100 miles inland. This tempers the daytime heat and allows grapes to ripen slowly but fully. Cooler-climate grape varieties thrive closest to the sea, while further inland, bigger, bolder wines prevail.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
Tulares Valley
Tulare's Valley wines roots run deep in the history of California. Tulare Lake, now dry, was the largest freshwater lake in California. This impressive reservoir was named by Spanish explorers after the native tule grasses that lined its shoreline. Its waters played a vital role in California's natural history, and now, in its place, the massive Tulare Basin supports an abundance of orange groves, agricultural crops, and of course—vineyards. These wines welcome you to enjoy the bounty of the Golden State and raise a toast to its history.
